So things have been crazy! I have had the flue four times since december. Due to illness I've had to drop two classes and am still trying to catch up in the other three! Too bad this week the weather has been beautiful and all I want to do is be outside and not doing homework. I've decided that I really like the spring.(so far)
This weather reminds me of the summer before my mission when Jessica brought home a new addition to the hizzie...a cute little puppy named bode (sp?) He was everyone’s favorite dog. He got boys to come over to the house and everything! Maybe that's why I'm not married or dating...bode's gone!
Sunday was a momentous occasion… I wore heals for the first time in like four years! I can’t really walk in them but my roommates said they made my legs look good and since I’ve been tanning my pasty whiteness isn’t that badJ! I almost fell a few times but got the hang of them in the end.
I have a date on Saturday that I’m a little nervous about. The guy graduated from BYU in sociology which is fabulous and is currently a social worker waiting to apply to law school which are both pluses. The thing is I’m not that excited. Maybe because the dates I’ve been on lately are uncomfortable. The guys talk about what they are interested in, which so far has been math or engineering based stuff…although all of that is great I get bored out of my mind. Then, and this is my favorite question, they ask if I would ever consider settling down in Utah! When I say no their smiles fade and no joke once a date ended right after I answered. He just got up and went for the car. I followed of course trying not to laugh. He dropped me off and that was that. I guess he hadn’t seen my smile somewhere before…GOTTA LOVE PROVO. So long story short I’m not sure if I’m going to go. I hate being uncomfortable and it’s hard for me to be in a group of people I don’t know. I get nervous. WEIRD! Did I mention this was a blind date? Even better right!? Any advice? Did I mention instead of going on the date I could babysit two very cute kids!?
In MTC news we have a missionary who is from Australia and says damn and hell like utah people say flip. It made me laugh so hard when he said it during class. For those of you who don’t know damn and hell aren’t bad words in Australia. The poor elder is working on his language he just doesn’t understand why American’s talk funny.
My goal is to write blogs more often. Skye’s right they are therapeutic! Love you all!

Bode was so fun!!
You should go on that date. You already know that there are some things you have in common. At the very least you'll probably get a free dinner.
If the dating thing still isn't working out, give me a call and I'll ship bouncy Bode out!
Bode's still bouncy? He peed on everything.
I met Ryan on a blind date. But don't let that deter you. You should go.
And you should settle down in Utah so we can hang out.
YEAH! I was so excited to see this! You also wrote about what I told you to-- super cute! See, it's not so bad =) About the date-- YOU SHOULD GO! I agree is Jess- FREE DINNER if nothing else! I completely understand about the awkwardness lately! I just havn't had my A dating game on! But, I am jealous, at least you get to go on a date!
Oh my goodness, I'M SO GLAD YOU FINALLY MADE A NEW POST! Congratulations on the heels, I'm a big fan. Good luck on your date, too--I think you should go . . . like Skye said, you can't beat a free dinner :-)
Hurray! You posted!
Ah, Bode. I miss that little pup. You should get a new one. I know you'd have one REALLY cute boy coming over to see it... DREW! He is obsessed with doggies.
There ARE nice boys out there, Ash. You'll find a good one. Keep going on those dates.
And you can come over anytime. How about this Saturday? Will you be in town?
